A Bit About Ellie
Since qualifying in 2014, Ellie has built her career at the highest levels of physiotherapy. Her experience spans the NHS, professional sport, and major international competition - including working pitch-side with Coventry FC, Leicester Tigers, and at the 2022 Commonwealth Games.

Operating in elite environment where precision, rapid diagnosis, and performance-led rehabilitation are essential, Ellie has been shaped into an exceptional clinician. She brings those same uncompromising standards to every patient at Optimist Performance.

While trusted in high-performance sport, Ellie is equally passionate about applying elite principles to everyday life. Whether guiding complex post-operative rehabilitation, resolving persistent back pain, or rebuilding strength after injury, her focus is always clear: to help each individual optimise how they move, recover, and live to their full potential.

Ellie's clinical approach combines advanced manual therapy, acupuncture, sports taping and structured rehabilitation programming. She also integrates evidence-based nutrition strategies into recovery plans - recognising the powerful role that feeling, tissue healing, and body composition play in successful rehabilitation outcomes.

As the only practitioner alongside Lucy, Ellie is a key pillar of Optimist Physiotherapy. Her expertise, attention to detail, and commitment to patient outcomes make her an integral part of the clinic and a clinician patients trust implicitly.

Outside the clinic, Ellie practices what she preaches. An accomplished endurance athlete, she takes on marathons and ultra-marathons, strength trains consistently, and has hiked extensively through New Zealand and Southeast Asia - embodying the performance-focused lifestyle she helps her patients achieve.
